Health & Social Services Law

Health law covers matters that affect the health care industry and participants which includes patients, doctors, providers and the relationships between them. It includes federal, state and local statutes, rules and regulations covering health care agreements made with a doctor, hospital or nursing home. Medical ethics and medical malpractice are also under the umbrella of health care law. Social Services Law is a related body of legislation and regulations which protect the health of and provide food, financial aid and medical care to children, families and seniors who are in need of care.
