Hello, i met a person thru badoo.com, its a site sort of like facebook and such sites where you can meet people... We hit it off, she is from CT and i live far away. It was obvious we were going to have a "virtual" relationship, si we decided it was ok to do this for a while and then meet, so 10 months have passed i fell in love more and more with this person, she only send me pictures of her and her family but never wanted to have a video conference, it seemed strange but i was not suspicious, but everytime i had a chance to go and visit her, she had an excuse, or that she could come and visit me, so finally i started putting pressure and started questioning her, and she started to commit errors in her past versions, so i got really mad and started investigating her, i did have her cellphone, which now i found is registered to a mans name that has nothing to do with what she claims her last name is, and i now found another profile with her same email adress in another social webpage and she has other information and other pictures of her, which is really confusing me, is there something legal i can do, because i really really feel deeply hurt, and i dont think is fair that people go on taking false identities and play with peoples feeling,s what i felt for her was true and honest, i was honest all the time, i even dreamed of her as the mother of my kids and was planning to move close to her and she knew and encouraged me, and when the time got close she started to make excuses and finally it turns out i dont even know who she is, i want to do something also to make an example, because it may sound innocent or lame even, but this is something that needs to be regulated, its not just these kind of situations, it could be rape, it could be fraud, it could be many things, something legal needs to be done so that people take more seriously other people feelings, moral and integrity, its in my opinion the most valuable asset a human being posses by itself, so please help me!, thanks in advance
Pleasant morning, I am in the state of massachussetts U.S.A, how is it possible to remove my name from a car loan that I signed with a friend who made a verbal agreement to refinance and have loan in their name in six months? It is now over 10 months and this has not being done. I am told his credit is not good. The car title is in both our name.

We bought a washer and dryer on CraigsList.. all communications were cordial. My husband arrived with a truck and he had to remove the washer and dryer himself from a very tight bathroom and through a kitchen. In doing so, the dryer bumped the refridgerator and two 3/4 inch scratches and a minor dent occurred. We paid cash for the W&D and took them away. When he got home there was an email from the seller telling us they were very upset that there were 2 scratches and a dent on their refridgerator and that it was going to be a "significant amount of money to have it fixed" and that they would be in touch with us so we could pay to fix it. Can you please tell me what are our rights with something like this? It was a very difficult situation to removed them (actually we thought they would have been disconnected and removed before we picked them up). You help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

My husband of (17) years has left me and my (2) children. We reside in New York state. My oldest is (16) years old and understands that she is able to decide who she resides with. She would like to know if she is able to relinquish this decision to the courts and let the court make the decision in her best interest. I would like to ease her mind. If you could, please, reply with an answer.

Thank you for your time.

What is considered HearSay in a telephone hearing?
If I am attending a telephone hearing, would everything the opposing side says, with regard to their witnesses via written statements be considered HearSay? Also, wouldn't my word be the only true and reliable facts, because I'm the one stating what had happened?
I am currently in a lease at an income restricted property. In order to qualify for this aparment my income had to be a certain amount; however, I will be in violation of this income requirement at the end of the month due to new employment. I would like to terminate my lease under this clause and I am wondering if I can. The clause states, "If Resident has supplied information to the Manager by means of a rental application or similar instrument, Resident covenants that Resident knowingly and voluntarily gave all such information, and if such information proves to be false or misleading, Resident shall have committed a material breach of this lease that Resident shall not be permitted to cure. In cases of tax-exempt bond-financed properties Resident hereby certifies the accuracy of the statements made in all documents previously executed, and further agrees that the family income, family composition and other eligibility requirements set forth in the Certification of Tenant Eligibility and Income Verification (collectively known as the "Certificate") shall be deemed substantial and material obligations of Resident's tenancy; that Resident will promptly comply with all requests for information with respect thereto from the Manager, the Owner of the Apartment Community or any Mortgagee; that Resident's failure to provide accurate information in the Certificate or Resident's refusal to comply with a request for information with respect thereto shall be deemed a material default by Resident which Resident shall not be permitted to cure; and that Resident's failure to furnish accurate and current information on the Certificate could subject Resident to civil liability. Resident agrees that this Lease shall become null and void if it becomes known to the Owner of the Apartment Community or Manager that continuation of Resident's occupancy will result in the interest on any tax-exempt bonds utilized to finance the construction of the Apartment Community becoming subject to federal income taxation, or in violation of the state statue permitting the issuance of such bonds." This is the full clause which is listed in the lease agreement. My income will increase at the end of the month, which means that I am no longer meeting the income requirements. I want to know if this clause will allow me or the complex the void my lease. This property is income restricted and they get some kind of federal money or they received federal funds through a tx bond to build these apartments.

No. It's not "live chat".

Perhaps you should start recording some of his comments. It might make interesting listening the next time you have to go to court or mediation for custody or visitation.

I have an ex that is continuously harassing me and demeaning me in front of my son, I dont know what to do cause I do not have the money for an atty.
Believed by whom? Accusations of drug or alcohol use by one party or another in a custody dispute are about as common as the sun rising.

If there is a legitimate worry for the children, a report should be made to child services (or your state's equivalent). Taking the neglected child to a doctor on a visitation would help, too. if a doctor can say with certainty that injury or illness is a result of neglect, then things look better. One parent accusing the other of neglect without an unbiased third party evaluation is likely to be dismissed out of hand.

It is believed that there is meth use as well as alcoholism around the kids and in the same house the kids live in. The six month old has been neglected to the point were there is a bulge forming on the side of her head because she is never alowed to sit up. She also has a flattening spot due to the same reason. The kids are exposed to the party sceen every night and during the days as well. The live in Wyoming. Can anything bedone to maybe give temporary custody to a sibling of the acused.
It would depend on the state and the details of the event? How has the alleged alcoholism endangered or injured the children?

What kind of action are you seeking? (limits on visitation? a change of custody? a restraining order?)

What you can do and how you can do it will depend on what the problem is, and what result you seek.

Have a question about child endangerment due to alcoholism. What has to happen in order for legal action to be taken?

hi, I am 17 and was recently given and mip and mic ticket and have court in a week. I was in a car with a few of my friends, and we got pulled over and everyone had been drinking. The officer was yelling at me and making me really nervous, another officer pulled up and told me that he wanted to take my a** to jail, the third officer told me that I was not wearing enough clothes(I was wearing shorts and a tank top in hot weather). Everyone was denying to take a breathilizer test, and I did as well. They then hand-cuffed me and put me in the back of a cop car without reading me my rights. I'm not sure what I should say in court, or what the consequences will be if I am found guilty? Please respond, Thank You!

My son co-signed for a car for his girlfriend. Several of the first 6 payments were late which has affected his previuosly excellent credit rating. Is there any way to get out from under this debt? He would like to end the relationship entirely. If she misses a payment can he take possesion of the car and sell it? If it were sold would she be entitled to any money for what she has put into it? She is the sole driver of the car. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
