hi just hoping you can give me some advice about my mum who is going through a seperation..my mum has been paying the mortgage for 3yrs with vertually no input from partner..she is now wondering where she stands as she has been forced to move out due to menal abuse..both names are on the mortgage..hope u can help..thanks

last night my son was almost arressted: the office tried to conveince me that he would be charged as an acomplis to a theft which would violate his prohbation. the video surrvalance tape shows my son and his friend at the cash register, his friend picks a cell up belonging the customer prior to them and leaves the store. the owner of the phone returns, cell phone gone and my son standing there not knowing what they are talking about. the officer tells my son he can be arressted for being with this boy-tells my son to find him bring him in or he (my son) will face the charges. Can this happen?

My son was almost arrested because his friend stole a cell phone that a customer left at the cash register. The officer told my son he was to go find this boy and turn him in, in order to keep himself from being arrested and charged as an accomplis. My son is one month away from completeing prohbation. Can this office arrest him if this boy doesn't turn himself in?

My fiance has section 8 housing. She has put in for an emergency transfer that has been approved to relocate to Long Island,NY. She was told by the main office that her tranfer has been put on hold because she owes(?) them money. Can they compell her to stay in the 5 boroughs because of this matter. My outlook is, they won't transfer the emergency transfer because once she leaves the 5 boroughs she will no-longer be under they jurisdiction. Is this legal on their behalf?

hi i had a dispute in 2003 with Verizon Phone co. in MD I thought it was settled as where I had all receipts and proof that I sent 2 phones back to them and they were sent with ins. and priority USP I sill have those recepts and all communication on paper in my records I have been in MN for 4 years I am tring to buy a house and this letter from Palasides LLC I owe $400 plus but they will settle for half -- they have my social security number and I want to know what recourse I have also a friend said there is a statute of limitations even if I did owe them is this true I am disabled and as I said I have all the paper work and the USP would be my co-defendant since they say it was shipped 2 x and received ! Any info would be awesome thanks

I have been married for 4 years he is 58 i am 43 we lived in florida relocated back to ohio to be closer to grandchildren all of a sudden he became depressed went on fluoxetine became angry snapped at his sister and his daughter and her husband then one day turned on me has moved me into the spare bedroom i have not been able to find employment told me to get out i had an inheritance in 2005 and now that its gone i think he wants me gone i have spent every dime i had on him buying new cars paying off both our cars vacations clothing cameras computers and so on now what is my recourse he is on disability and has recently lost his insurance supplement of 1100 a month he received from work for not following up with on going medical care now he wants me out can i do anything about this?

i need help. not for me exactly but i cant get my boyfriends lawyer to explain anything to me. he got arrested for aggravated robbery. he claims he only assaulted the victim. the guy he got in trouble with supposedly wrote a statement saying that my boyfriend pulled a knife and took the victims wallet. now the guy he got in trouble with wrote a letter to my boyfriends lawyer saying that my boyfriend didnt pull a knife and didnt take the victims wallet. my boyfriends lawyer told my boyfriend that he doesnt think the DA has the knife in question in evidence or any evidence of a robbery except the victims claims. what could possibly be the outcome?

I am trying to choose my major for college and i really want to do either Forensic Psychology or Criminal Justice, will i be able to have a career in these fileds if i am a convicted felon?

I hadnt pushed this bc i didnt know I might possibly have a legit claim. 3 months ago a friend and I co-signed a 6 month lease wtih an apartment complex. I paid the depsit and first months rent, with agreemnts he would pay to have the other utilities turned on. Exaclty 2 days after moving in he informed me that he was staying at home and not moving in with me. He hasnt lived one day in the apartment and only has attempted once to give a portion of money he owes me for half rent so far, and mind you I didnt get it either bc the bank wont cash the check he gave me due to him being negative. I have all signed documnts for the lease, i have money order and bank stubs were I have paid the rent, and even the complex is willing to state that he never moved in and who paid the depoit and rent . Do I have somthing here? If so what do I do? l live in TN....i have tried finding a room mate...even tried to down grade to a one bed room. but bc of contact with the complex i have to stay in this apartment for 6 months then i can break the year contract and down grade. i just need help into where to go now, i dont klnow what papers to fill out or were to star first, i need direction were to go from here. i have all the documents that i need on my part, i dont know what legal filing docs i need or how to submit them. thank for ANY help at all
