My question is that I subletted a room in the home (which is in California) that I rent with verbal consent from the manager but not written consent of the owner. Does this make the lease void to the tenant? And now the owner wants the tenant out so do I need to give written notice (30) days or not? The tenant has been living here for approximately 3 months and wants to pay this month's rent. Do I accept it? Or how do I proceed?...

My ex husband and his wife I feel are harrassing my husband and I. They send us an email last year implying my husband was sexually abusing our daughter that my exhusband and I share. Then he sent me an email jumping my case about getting my daughters ears pierced (she is 7) so he let them grow shut while she was with him. He has now called dfs on us bc my daughter and my 10 year old son walk to the end of the driveway by themselves in the morning to get on the bus and they are trying to imply that either I or my husband are beating my daughter. She had a dark marking on her that is a scar from a boil she had several months ago. She said she even told him that and he said she was lying. My daughter was dignosed as adhd awhile back and when we went to the doctors appt to put her on the meds she needs he blew up on the doctor and I saying that she is not adhd that the problem is I am a bad mom and don't pay any attention to her.
He has also been calling and emailing her teachers constantly wanting to know if I have been mistreating her.
DFS said that my kids are great kids and I am doing a wonderful job with them and to keep the good work up. I am at my wits ends though. I can't afford an attorney but I need to know if I have legal rights to get them on harrassment so this will end.

if you know anything about non-profit organizations and receiving donations your help would be greatly appreciated. I need to know what to do in order to receive donations and have a raffle to sell blankets for our organization.

My son in law recently switched jobs, gave his boss a two week notice but did not give him his last pay check, pay period ended.... other employees were paid but not him, how long can he hold the pay check before sending it.... he has called his boss several occassions and said that she had sent it but has never sent it and now wont return his calls, any advice?

Is it true that Condo Management Company can confiscate my Condo?

I am 68 years old living on a fixed income. Because our complex had none of the enmities promised in working order (pools, gym etc) I had to charge my tenants less then half of what the rental should have been. The Condo Association was so busy fighting among themselves; crime was running rampant and my tenants moved out (as did quite a few others).

Due to the lack of upkeep and fear, I have not been able to rent out the Condo. Yet the Management Company sent me a bill in the thousands giving me until the 11th to pay them.

Yes it is the same Management Company that they have always had.

Can I file a Counter Claim if they try to take the property?

I Went On A Interview But Before The Interview I Met With A Supervisor A Terril Stroud A Couple Of Day Before My Sister Introduced Me And It Seem To Me Going Well So He Set Up An Interview I Went And I Was Seen By Another Supervisor And He Told Me That The Person Who Does The Training Is On Vacation And Wont Be Back Until After Labor Day And He Also Could'nt Hire Me Till After Labor Day And He Would Call Have The Other Supervisor Mr Stroud To Call Me That Friday The Day I Went On The Interview Was A Monday Mean While My Sister Called Me On Her Lunch Break And Told Me That He Said Don't Worry I Have The Job And That He Made A Disturbing Comment About My Lower Assets Now The Week Goes By And No Call Early Tuesday Morning I Called Mr Stroud And He Wasn't In His Office So I Left A Message But Before Lunch I Called Again And Talked To Him And He Said The Person Was Back From Training And He Had To Talk To That Person And He Would Call Me Back Right Away And He Took My Number But He Never Called So Early Wensday Morning I Called Again And He Said He Was Sorry He Didn't Get A Chance To Speak That Person And He Said I Will Talk To Him/her Then Ask Me Was I Dress For Work Because "when I Call Back Ill Need U To Come In" I Said Yes Sir Thinking That I Would Start Today He Never Called Back Instead My Sister Called Me And Told Me Taht A Young Spanish Female Who Had Came In For An Interview Was Being Hired On The Spot The Same Day As The Interview And I Know The Girl Personally She Lives In My Neigbohood And I Thought That Was So Unprofessional And It Was No Need To Lie About It And To Have Me Think That I Had The Job So Do I Have A Case

My name is Samantha. Today my father went to the Consumer and Business department because he recieved a ticket for carrying out the garbage we produced while renovating the house. Today was the hearing, and so we all went down their, and I decided that we should settle because the fine was five hundred dollars. the attorney who spoke to us said that although its our garbage and it is not a business it had construction waste and we needed to either hire someone to remove it or get a container we can't do it ourself. So I settled but people are saying that it would be better to go infront of a judge, and my parents are thinking the same way. Do you think it would have been better to go infront of the judge, and the fine that recieved from the settlement would have been dismissed?

Thank you for your response I appreciate it. I don't know where im going yet. I'm just at the beginning, and am on the fence about seperating. He has no idea.
