My manager's position was eliminated in June under the pretense that her job was being absorbed into another department. As a result my position was also recently eliminated. I have just learned that in fact a new person will be taking on her responsibilities and that my position was not actually eliminated, but rather "reassigned" to another as well. Does this give me bargaining rights to request extended severance considering my outstanding performance throughout and present poor market conditions?

My daughter got a MIP tonight. She was sitting outside in her car she took her friends dad home who was drunk. Her car was parked. The police officer pulled up behind her and flashed his lights. The officer had her do the breath test right after her friend. She blew a 0.018. My husband showed up at that time and said the officer was being very rude to my daughter. My husband insisted on another test. She reblew and again blew over. My husband then asked for a blood test and the officer refused. We took my daughter to the ER for testing the will not test blood unless the person is brought in by officer. We had the drug testing people come and give a nother breath test it was 55 minuets ofter the officer tested and my daughter blew a 0.00 My daughter friend died in a drunk driving accident, I belive my daughter when she said she didn't drink, Please help us

Please help me determine if this "money making" scheme is legal or not.

I would be setting up an "email marketing list" - this is the service that would be provided.

It starts off with a list of 5 email addresses, I pay the one on top and the one on bottom $5 each (using Paypal) - requesting to be added to their email list. Then I add my email to the bottom and move everyone up, removing the one that was on top. Then I post to message boards, etc... If all works as planned, I would be making a lot of money in a short amount of time - and creating a large email marketing list for future opportunities.

I do not want to do this if it is an illegal pyramid scheme. However, a service is being provide here - so, is this Legal?

I was sitting here watching TV eating sunflower seeds I had just bought from 7-11 just an hour and a half ago. I found a small looking pine needle sticker thing with like needles somewhat type of a sticker I think. I had put it in my mouth without knowing along with other sunflower seeds I got out of the bag, the needles cut my tongue and made my tongue bleed. I have the bag the receipt and pictures of my tongue bleeding. I tried to call the company but they are closed until Monday. What should I do?
