I was terminated last Thursday. I was never written up or warned that my job was in jeopardy. I was out sick for a week, with a doctor's note. I had a pre-approved 3 day leave of absence after that to have a procedure done. When I returned to work I was told that I violated the attendance policy and was terminated. This was done after I had worked almost the entire day. I just want to know if I have any type of case. I am an RN, and will find another job. But would like some compensation from them until I am able to find something else if possible.
