It all depends in what the basis of your lawsuit would be. Generally speaking, most SOLs toll after 5 or 6 years. But, the SOL is but one of several hurdles. More likely than not, even if the SOL hasn't tolled, you have nothing upon which you could sue. Ask yourself, how did the business harm you? No need to reveal the answer, just something for you to consider. The key here is you need damages, real damages not perceived slights or transgressions.
