The officer she hit had to get a few stitches, so I'm sure that will be a legal adventure. She is on lockdown in the mental facility, and we won't be able to see her for a few days. Her brother and my own children seem to have bonded over this, so our home life is easier with everyone pitching in and getting along. I've got a meeting with the police after work to see what they will be charging her with.

I might choose to visit her, might not, hard to say.
I wouldn't waste a dime of my precious family resources on defending her.
She and her pedophile made her bed, so to speak.
Life is a harsh master, and a great teacher.

Don't kick the incarcerated bulldog.

I did my best to explain the situation at the police station. The lawyers and police are figuring out how to file charges without costing us our home. We are enjoying peace, and my husband and I will be going to see her once a month for family therapy.
