What exactly it a statement of facts, issues and contention for a mandatory settlement conference in a divorce. In what format is it prepared. I know it is on pleading paper but can you tell me the essential items it should contain.

Check with the court, the clerk, or its website.

They should have samples and templates for you to use.

If not, ask the clerk where you might find some.

Most are happy to assist polite, pro se litigants!

You have the construct, but you must tighten it to the format the court expects.

This is why people hire attorneys.

These are the things that will destroy a good case or defense.

You need to put it in the form and format the court has set forth.

Form and substance matter, insofar as the court is concerned.
