my daughter was dating this man he went to his home state and married an old girlfriend that was pregnant, a couple months later she found she was pregnant . she had the baby, and he had made no effort for support, he told his wife, and she is now divorcing him, he is getting out of the military on a mental disorder, now he is calling out of the blue threatening her for custody. what does she have to do to protect her and the baby. there was no paternity test all though she knows its his

she should go and see an attorney, there are a lot of issues involved in this: child support, custody, questions about his mental state etc etc.

She also might consult with either your city's children services department or some nonprofit group who consult in these cases as to what rights she has.
