If you on FMLA can your job hire someone for your position? Well my company did hire someone about a month after I went on FMLA, once my FMLA was exacted two days later I was terminated, by email and then the next day I get a certified letter regarding the termination. I occurred PTO while on FMLA and they refuse to pay me for that; stating I was not physically working at the time it occurred. But FMLA states that an employee is suppose to continue to occured PTO time while on FMLA. What should I do, as of today I am still under doctors care.
