On Tuesday June 9th, I had 3 pin strokes. I ended up in the heart care unit of a local hospital. On Thursday, my lunch which is normally served at noon was brought to me at 1:10. I called the nurse's station and requested to have my lunch warmed up. I overheard a nurse say, "and I would like to have a winning lottery ticket." 3 weeks later, I am still troubled at the thought of that nurse's lack of compassion. Should I just get over it or seek some kind of restitution?

Thank you

I second the get over it route.

Let's say you did go to court. You would need to have a witness that heard the remark.

Aside from that, what real damage was done? Sorry, but ths is part of the problem these days is people want to sue over nothing. If you want to sue for everytime someone says something you don't like, then you better not leave your home. You weren't truly injured, so move on.
