Denied expense reimbursement check after being accused of theft

Hello! I'm being accused of theft by my previous employer and now they are refusing to pay me my final expense reimbursement check. Can they do this?

Barring a legally binding contract that says otherwise, there are only two states in which an employer is legally obligated to reimburse expenses (and in one of the two the legal obligation is for mileage only) so yes, he can unless you have a contract or CBA that says he can't.
