I live in Louisiana. When my wife left me she took the van. The van is not financed...there is a clear title. The van is in my name only. She is no longer paying insurance and my driver licenses has flags put on them at the tune of 450.00. I received notification from the state of Louisiana for me to turn in the license. Can I go and remove the tags from the van and turn them in.

You need to take care if those citations.

You have a good chance of explaining this and making them all go away, since she took the van without your permission.
