I recently turned 18, and I want to enroll myself back to my old school that I was taken out of because I live out of district. I'm moving into a friend's house that's in district. Do I still need my parents to do any procedures of withdrawing/registering?

If you're 18, you should just need proof of residency to register where you moved. Things could vary by school district, though.

It seems per the Tx. education code you can if you reside in the school district and are 18 years of age or older.

Why don't you call or visit the school office & ask what you need to do.

I went the school I attended to yesterday (8-15-13) and went to the school I wanted to attend today (8-16-13) but I was denied registration, because of something of dependency?
