I have been married 8 months. I recently found out that my wife was in a mental hospital when she was younger. Her mom told me it was because she is bipolar. She is extremely violent and has a very short fuse. I was wondering if since I haven't been married very long if an annulment is in order. I think that because her condition was hidden from me, I would have had different thoughts about getting married to someone who was BP.
What are the California rules concerning this? Do I have to get her to agree to the annulment?
