The last thing we needed was verification of his divorce from his wife in nigeria. the embassy would not verify or approve it because they found out he was still married to his wife in Nigeria. He found a lawyer here to file a divorce and the court here in my home state of North Carolina granted him and her a divorce. Making our marriage null and void. He could get his green card if we remarried. I refused because he lied to mew to get the green card.
