This post seems unclear as to what you did. Did you get a script from the pain clinic & have it filled at Walgreens and a script off the internet from a different Dr. and also had that one filled at walgreens or did you buy pills off the internet?

The problem here may be that you are assuming you worked 8 hours by staying over. You should never assume anything. Did your supervisor give you permission to make up the time or was this done on your own? If your supervisor did give you the OK to make up the time you should get paid. If not...

You really do need to get a lawyer. Use a credit card if you have to, Do you own a home? If so get an equity line of credit if you don't have that already & use that. In the end he will have to pay at least something since it will now be a joint bill.
