you can sue the school they are supposed to have protection offered as long as its at school you will prolly settle in the case but they can be sued

depends on your insurance, what kind do you have do they cover other drivers that kind of stuff if its covered your insurance will pay if not covered take him to court for the damages just make sure to get pictures of the damages and then get several different quotes on the cost to repair
