Two years ago I was in rehabilitation. I met a girl in a whirlwind relationship on Venice Beach, California. A week after meeting we got married at city hall. Two days later she disappeared! She is Australian, and was in the U.S. without a Visa. I have not seen or heard from her since. We did not take any other legal steps, such as filing our marriage with anyone, and I don't think she knew my social security number or anything. Anyway, I am now living in Japan with a beautiful young woman I want to marry. Do I need to file for an annulment, since the marriage was never consumated? Please help.
