What rights do I have? My mother wont give back my daughter.

I was just wondering if someone could help me.. I need to know what my rights are as far as getting my daughter back.. See, about a year ago I signed custody over to my mom because we agreed it would be best in case something happened.. She said it would just be until I got on my feet and got some money comming in.. Well, now my husband has a great paying job and were moving into a 2bd apartment to make room for her and my mom says she wont give her back.. What can I do? I really want my daughter back..

If she has official temporary custody through the courts, you have to file a motion to get custody back. No other way.

You definitely have to hire a lawyer and a good one. I have seen this in many cases and sometimes they let the grandparent keep the child. It's very hard to get back custody once you've signed it over to someone else. Good luck.
