what kind of lawyer do I need

Regarding the FL dog bite post below, I am interested in retaining legal counsel and I'm not sure how to find a reputable lawyer in the area or even what type I need. My neighbor isn't responding to the insurance company and I feel she may have her own lawyer and is being instructed not to speak with anyone. Any advice?

Have you tried working out an agreement when it comes to paying for the medical bills? I didn't see that in your posting. Hiring an attorney may cost you more than if you had a face to face conversation with her and see what you can work out as far as the medical bills. In the event you think you need an attorney, call your local bar association so they can refer you to a reputable one. Hope this helps!
