I received a status only dissalution ca code 2336. what does that mean?

You shouldn't sign or agree to anything unless and until you have discussed it with YOUR attorney.
What you're being asked to sign is potentially detrimental to your rights.
The one that benefits from your agreement to the what you're being asked to sign is the OTHER party!

Bottom line, no one can force you to sign anything.

But, before you agree to any legal thing, seek the advice of YOUR attorney!

CA Family Code 2336 is a section of the California family code that allows a dissolution of your marriage without addressing other issues, such as child custody, child support, etc.
