Washington state pay cycle change

employer changing from montly to bi montly pay. during transition I will only get one check for 1/2 my salery on that first month. IE: New paydays 10th and 25th. Will start program in Feb. Full check paid jan 31st and no check again until Feb 25 but only 1/2. I get cheated...1/2 months pay.

And when you asked your Payroll department for an explanation, what did they say?
