I took my ex husband to court for not paying the tiny bit of spousal support he is suppose to pay me, as per the divorce agreement. The Judge found in my favor.
I then took the Judges signed decision to file it with the Marshall, but was told that in spite of the clear instructions in the decision, the same information needs to be transferred to a judgement form.
So, I went to the office for self representation in the Supreme Court of New York, and asked the clerk for this form. She had no idea.
Can someone please tell me:
A. What form do I need to change a decision into a judgement?
B. Do I copy exactly what the Judge wrote on the decision onto the judgement form?
C. Can I hand write the information on the judgement form or must it be typed?
Thank you.
