termination legal?

My jurisdiction is: FL

I am a supervisor of a department and I report to my boss who in turn reports to the administrator. Very recently the administrator has been very critical of my work and spoke to my boss who in turn spoke with me and advised me of actions he wanted me to take, I agreed and through the course of the next few days everything I did was wrong and my boss would get calls complaining about my work. To make this short I was informed one morning that due to a special budget session my position was being eliminated and they would give me two weeks pay. Can they terminate me this way?

Yes they can without a violation of law, cba or employment contract you can be fired at anytime for any or no reason at all
