Terminated for Violation

I was recently terminated from my job for alleged tampering of employee time records... Out of the three managers in the location I was the only to receive any disciplinary action. According to the computer system all three of us managers did the same thing of removing full employee shifts from the Time Record. Now at the same time when ti said one of us three were doing this the manager listed as making the change was not in the location or working at that time. Is it fair that they can terminate just me because I am the higher of the three or is there reason to maybe bring legal action for an unfair termination?
