Heres an excerpt from a subcontractor contract.
"PAY: $225/week
Subcontractor shall be paid at half fee ($112.50/week) every two weeks (i.e. pay shall be $225 every two weeks) from NH period extending July 1st-August 25th, with balance and showcase fee ($75 for 8/25-8/31) paid on August 31st, 2008."
My Question is: Said subcontractor didnt actually arrive at location to do work until the 3rd of July, which was discussed with said subcontractor almost a month in advance of their contract dates. Since they didn't actually show up until the 3rd, is my company legally obligated to pay them for days they were not even there?
