my ex and the father of my 8 month old daughter is 21 and has recently admitted to having sex with a 16 year old girl to one of our mutual friends. I'm wondering if the word of this friend is enough to get him arrested for this action and if this action would also deny him visitation rights to his daughter. I'm concerned about having my daughter around that and i also don't agree with him doing this (obviously). I don't care about child support, i just want to know if he would get convicted as a registered sex offender and what that meant in accordance with my child.

You probably cannot do anything unless someone files a complaint with the DA's office and it is going to have to be by the girl or her mon and unless he is convicted probably not going to make a difference.

its in new york state and a friend of my moms was having sex with his gf when he was 18 and she was 16 and he got her pregnant and the girls mother called the cops, he is now 31 and has 2 kids with his old girlfriend but he can't see his children unless the visitations are supervised by his mother

What state is this? Perhaps 16 is the age of consent in your state?

Absent a confession by one or both parties, the issue is not going very far. While anyone can report this to the police, the accusation is not likely to effect his visitation with his daughter ... it's not like he's molesting infants. If your intent is to screw with him out of vindictiveness, then try and move past that. Accusations of domestic violence and child abuse are about as common in contested divorce/custody cases as sunrise is in the morning.

If he is not a danger to the infant, then try not to make him out that way - it only damages your credibility in the long run.
