I volunteerly placed my Great Nephew that I adopted back in 2012 into Foster Care and now Social Services is trying to build a bogus child neglect case against me.

Child services agencies are often accused of building bogus cases against people.

I wouldn't worry about a bogus charge.

I WOULD worry about a case that charges you with any crime.

If you are approached to discuss this case, IMMEDIATELY invoke your right to remain silent by saying, "I invoke my constitutional right to remain silent and I request a lawyer."

Then you stop talking and ask the investigator to leave (in fact, don't allow anyone into your home without a an arrest warrant or a search warrant), or ask the person if you are free to leave, if you foolishly visit the lion in his lair; a police station.
