I'm a single mom, dad has never seen daughter before.. DNA proves it. Dont pay child support. Lives in the same town. I wanted full custody of her they said no he has the right to see his daughter is this right?
Full custody has nothing to do with visitation. If he doesn't see her anyways, why rock the boat? If he wants visitation he is entitled to it, you can certainly ask for supervised.
Think of it the other way around - access is a right of the parent, but it is really for the benefit of the child. It is generally presumed to be beneficial to the child to have contact with both parents.
You already have full custody, but since he is the legal dad (DNA), he can ask the court for his rights. Until then you aren't obligated to let him see the child. Is he court ordered to pay support? Whether he is or not, it's separate from visitation.
