In March I injured my knee when an elevator at my job(large oil company) stop 5 inch. to high and I tripped going into it. The elevator was found to have 3 parts need replaced and was out of service for 2 weeks.

I reported everything right away. Even went to ER that day. Since I have done doc appts, physical therapy, then surgery, then physical therapy. It has been now 7 months and I am still having pain but getting better after surgery. My question is should I get a lawyer and try and get some money for all the crap I have had to deal with and pain in my knee for the last 7 months. Or do I no have any case since they have taken care of me through workers comp and stuff.

Thanks for input,

Jonathan

Consult with a personal injury attorney.

....who will tell you that workers comp is the sole remedy for injuries incurred at work.

Instead trying to sue your employer through a personal injury attorney, you should be attempting to reach a settlement with a workers comp attorney.
