Race & Age discrimination Microsoft

I have recently been told by a Women General Manager at Microsoft (in an email) that I will have a very difficult time getting a Job with Microsoft (or anywhere) because I am a White Male (and over 55).

Is there any legal action that can be done about this type of discrimination?

Not because she said it. She can *say* anything she wants. Nor does any employer have any obligation to hire you.

If, however, you actually do experience difficulty finding work AND you can show that it is BECAUSE OF your age/gender/race (and not because someone else is more qualified, or because they have more applicants than they know what to do with) you can file a complaint with the EEOC and/or your state discrimination board.
