Pregnancy discrimination

My wife was fired for being pregnant. Can we take legal action against her former employer even if she was getting paid under the table.
 
Really? If you out her employer, I suspect someone will report her to the IRS. You might just take your lumps and move on. I would, and I wouldn't take any MORE illegal employment deals.

Why would some one need to report her to the IRS. She plans on filing her wages so she can do her tax return. So is it really illegal employment if she is getting paid cash? Alot of small business start that way.
 
Well, you CAN, but unless you've been paying taxes on that under the table money I"m not sure you really want to.

Did someone out and out SAY that she was being fired because of her pregnancy? How many employees does this employer have?
