We are a couple that have recently taken a job in Colorado.
We have a signed 2 year contract, and have been doing our job and have had no counseling issues, complaints, and things were going fine until just a couple weeks ago when there was a private issue not related to our jobs, but "could" have affected our performance. But our jobs were performed, and done completely.
The employers are now saying that we will probably be terminated. We have been told that by law they cannot.
We want to know if they are bound by this contract financially, and if we leave do they have to pay us the contract amount?
