Paintball gun

I was wondering if any of you guys thought that i have a case against a kid at my school?
about 6 months ago, last school year, i let a kid borrow my paintball gun over the weekend, then he gave it to one of his friends who lives in california. ive told him to get me my gun but he dosent. do you think that i have a case? and if so, do you think that i could get more than i put in to the paintball gun itself? please help, im tired of waiting for something thats never going to happen.

You probably have a case for conversion, that means you probably will be entitled to the value of the paintball gun at the moment that you withdrew your consent for him to use it and demanded its return.
