I worked for a company that you earn paid time off for working holidays. I did not work for them for 90 days because of conflicts. The company sent me a check for 8.81 hours worked after i was not working for them I pursumed it was for the holiday I did work. Now they want the money back do I have to give it back and what if I don't have it?

What proof do you have that they owed you the money? What reason did they give for requesting the money back?

If you got paid money in error that you did not earn, yes you have to pay it back and if you don't have it, you'd better get it.
