Well, i quit my job and they called me a few times, letting me know that there is a check waiting for me. I went to pick it up after a month. The check was over the amount they were suppose to give me.
I deposited it, and then after 10 days I received a letter stating that I need to return the check within 10 days or they will take further action to resolve this matter.
My question is, can they ask for the money back? Even though they have approved it and took it upon themselves to call me to pick up the check, and also had a month to void or stop the check.
And if we do go to small claims court, do I have a good chance to win this case?
