We have had a CPS case open since June 2019. No court actions have been taken. Can I stop the caseworker from going to the school to speak with my child?

No, you can't stop the CPS worker from going where they want to go, but you can tell your child to refuse to talk with the CPS worker without you there. However, that would raise suspicions, and make the CPS worker wonder what you are hiding.

You can also inform the school that your child is not to speak with anyone without you present. Do so in writing.
Your best option is to make sure your kids know they are not to speak with anyone and that its ok for them to refuse and insist a parent be present
