I just received a threating e-mail from a lawyer who has been sent a termination letter last week (for any of his services); he says he doesn't believe that my wife sent the termination letter (notarized) and says he still represents my wife! Then he threatens me with civil and criminal actions if I interfer with his representation.
Is this worth reporting to the State Bar? If so, how can I make sure this lawyer ceases all activities---he's been fired!
...State of Georgia

Your wife should give him a call and advise him the letter is for reals and he's not getting paid for any further work he does, and ask for her file back.

You can't interfere with his representation because there's no representation to interfere with.
