Wife and I split mid 2013 and I left our rented home with only the clothes on my back. I've called,texted,emailed to retrieve my clothes,tools,electronics,etc. But she plays dumb like I have nothing there.
How do I go about getting my property?
What if she says she doesn't have it?
I know there's a time laps here but I had hopes of reconciliation.

You can ask the local police or sheriff (whichever one polices the area where the trailer sits) to meet you at the residence.

They call that a civil standby to keep the peace.

You're normally allowed 1015 minutes (a short time) to get your junk.

So, if you do it, bring a couple plas to help move the junk quickly.

I said grab, not pack, so they won't wait hours while you get everything.

If she says its hers, they won't let you take it.,

So, just go with the flow.

Your other option is to sue her in small claims for the value of the junk you can PROVE you owned and it was left in the crib.

Another option some people use is to send a person you both trust to get some of your junk.

Person XXX arranges a time to get some junk.

They get it, and run.

After all this time, well, yeah, you know.
