Can someone please explain to me what exactly a Supplemental Creates Lien means?

Once you obtain a judgment and it is entered into court records proper, you can then create a Judgment Lien which can be attached to all of the Debtor's real property. This is done by recording the judgment in the County Clerk Lien Record for the county where the property is located.

In California it is called the Recording of the Abstract of Judgment but has basically the same force and effect as Lien Recording in Oregon. The effect of such a lien is that it clouds the debtor's property title so that it cannot be sold or be mortgage for as long as the lien is set against the property and it is also works as a powerful weapon in collecting your debt.

Once your judgment is satisfied by the debtor, you will then have to file with the same office to vacate the lien.
