A lady was spit on. Then charged at.. Threatened by a drunk man at a casino. I stepped in and told the man to leave her alone. He was all in her face. She was crying begging him to leave her alone. I finally got security after 10 or so mins.. I had to go find them. A man gave me his card that witnessed it. The security guard didn't see interested in the witness or how upset she was.. He then left us alone.. After she asked for a officer and said she felt scared for her life. And he went to review the video.. I had to make him take the witnesses card. Then a guy not security. Told us they "because he had a gf who instigated it all". Would go on their way to another part of the casino. I told them that wasn't enough he pretty much attacked her mentally.. Verbally and damn near physically. But he wouldn't listen . Then he walked away. I look over and they are still right next to us. No one made sure they left our area. So I say let's go and before I know it the gf is walking up to the girl cussing threatening ect. So I ran to find someone and I couldn't... As I walked back to go look in another direction they were in my path .. And stopped. Started threatening again! Still in the sane area as us.. So i went a different direction and asked a normal employee to call security again.. They came back down.. We told them it happened again.. Tbh I'm not sure if it was even security that came back down the second time. After that the normal employee who wasn't security was the only person who stayed with us..After the girl said how scared she was that they were going to get her.. We sat forever to find out if they found him but they never checked on us or anything .. Finally I asked If they were coming back ? The employee had no idea.. At this point she just wanted to go home. So I asked him someone could walk her out. The employee not security walked us to the door. Finally actual security walked us to the car. But they had no idea why. This lady looked like she went through hell. Not only did she ask for a officer, they never called police. They also didn't watch the video till after she had left .. They let that man go after she told them he wanted to hurt her. After spitting at her. Blocking her into her chair, that she wanted police. Not till after the second confrontation. Did they actually look at the video. So finally hours after we left they found him at the bar and banned him. She is scared. The casino has been nothing but nasty to her. She just wanted to make sure she was safe.. That he didn't follow her ect. There is a lot more to this. But the casino needs to do something! They neglected and didn't protect this girl! I mean she suffers from a couple mental illness problems, they were under control.. She feels like nowhere is safe. I suggested she goes to her doctor.. Now she's Going to see her doctor tomorrow. Everything that happened.. The casino needs to be liable! They need to fix the problem. Everything that happened .. It's all on video.

Did you know that all anyone needs to do when a physical confrontation looms is call "911" from any phone, even a suspended cell phone will allow you call "911"?

The police are a mere three digits away 9-1-1.

I look over and they are still right next to us. No one made sure they left our area.

Wait - they were sitting there the whole time this lady was being interviewed by security? And nobody thought to point this out to security?

I'm not sure I understand why you think security was negligent here.

The guy was being interview too.. And him and his girlfriend agreed to go on their way. That's when I told the employee that it wasn't good enough.. The guy went crazy on her. But he wouldn't listen.. So he left and I look over and they are still there.. Where they talked to security.. So I tell her lets go. As she was cashing out of the machine.. They walked back towards us cussing and screaming..

I agree but he was so aggressive.. It happened so fast.. It's was hard to think straight. So I ran to find security or someone to help. And most people think security will take care of a problem in the area they are securing ..

One of the employees told me. We were wronged. Not to let it go. He said security should of never left us alone. They should of called the police and stayed with the guy till they got there. The cops should of reviewed the tape before making a judgement.. This man went nuts on her. Then security leave and he is in the same spot and does it again! She's been telling then since the beginning she's is scared for her life. Then they leave us again.. No one offers to walk us to the cars. She should of never been left alone. He shouldn't have been able to come at her a second time. I shouldn't have had to risk my life trying to help her. That's the securities job. And their is more to it.

My biggest issue is.. She asked for a officer. She said he threatened her.. Tried to spit on her. Charged at her.. But They didn't.. The police said they should of called the cops. That They were in a little trouble for that.

Security kept leaving us. Not communicating with us.

Also they should of watched the video before they let him go. Security left us several feet away from him to go look at the tapes. Yet they came back with a " go your separate ways solution" but after watching it hours later they banned him..

They didn't make sure he left our area.. They told us we would be safe.. He agreed to go on his own way. Even after we told him we didn't feel safe with him in the building that he should be arrested.
But Yet they didn't.. That's what lead to part two of the harassment.

When security came back the second time. She told them he wanted to get her. That she's was scared to walk around or walk to her car.. Instead of helping us. They left us again.

We were walked to the door by a non-security guard.. Thank god I asked if they had someone to walk us to the car.

Maybe clearer

A lady was spit at. . Then charged at.. Cornered in a chair.. Threatened... by a drunk man at a casino.
I stepped in and told the man to leave her alone. He then tried to intimidate me.. He was all in her face. She was crying begging him to leave her alone. I finally got security after 10 or so mins.. I had to go find someone to call them and wait for them.
A man gave me his card that witnessed it. The security guard didn't seem interested in the witness or how upset she was.. Or what happened.. But I made him take the witnesses card.
After she tells him she felt scared for her life. You could see how upset she was crying.
He leave us..unprotected And goes to review the video.. Granted the guy and his girlfriend who instagated the whole thing were feet away from us...
Then a guy who's not security come back and Tells us, The man and his girlfriend would go on their own way to another part of the casino.
I told them that wasn't enough he pretty much attacked her mentally.. Verbally and damn near physically. But he wouldn't listen. The girl didn't understand why the police never came..
Well the guy walked away.. So I look over and they are still like 15 feet away from us. No one made sure they left our area. Who ever interview him I guess didn't wait to see him walk away.. So I say let's go and before I know it, the girlfriend is walking up to us cussing, threatening ect.
So I ran to find someone and I couldn't... As I walked back to go look in another direction they were in my path .. And stopped. Blocking me.. I tell them to keep walking and move.. They wouldn't.. threatening again.. Calling names.. Still feet away..
So i went a different direction and asked a normal employee to call security again.. They came back down.. We told them it happened again.. I told them they wanted to get back at us.. Same things unsaid the first time.
Tbh I'm not sure if it was even security that came back down the second time.
After that the normal employee who wasn't security was the only person who stayed with us.. Yup they left again.. Didn't ask us if we needed any help or anything.. And this girl was crying. She was so afraid they were going to jump her. Or get her in the parking lot.
We sat forever to find out if they had found him.. So we could leave without worrying. But they never checked on us or anything.. Just us and no security.. Finally I asked If they were coming back. The employee had no idea. I guess they were done with us..
At this point she just wanted to go home. But was too scared. She had no idea what to do... So I asked him someone could walk her out. The employee not security walked us to the door..
Then Finally actual security walked us to the car. But they had no idea why. So that was reassuring..

Went from go your own way to banned. That's because they saw the tape!
She is scared. The casino has been nothing but nasty to her. She asked why they never called the police. They told her the cop were to busy to call.
She just wanted to make sure she was safe.. That she could get home safe .. That she didn't have to worry about him or the girlfriend follow her. There is a lot more to this.
But the casino needs to do something! I mean she suffers from a lot of mental illness problems. She feels like the every where is going to do that to her. She's not sleeping well .. And feels like they didn't take her life serous. This could have been solved better. With out all the stress and fear.
It's all on video.. One if the employees said we were wronged and not to let it go. So thats why I'm here.

So it was just a shouting match... the first post stated she was spit on. then the clean up post stated she wasn't spit on but spit at. What started this ?

It is really difficult to follow your post as it is so poorly written and the multiple follow ups just make it worse. Long story short, a woman got into an altercation in a casino. Happens daily. You for reasons unknown, inserted yourself into the situation. Security was called but it seems nothing was really happening when they were present other than an upset patron. You seem to think security should have done more. What, isn't clear.

Security are not referees, CSI, law enforcement, babysitters, personal security, or counselors. Their job is to protect the casino from threats/theft/vandalism etc. They can not arrest anyone, nor do they care what happened in an interpersonal dispute. This woman should have called the police if she had actually been assaulted or a crime had been committed. It isn't clear that is the case, but the police would be the appropriate authorities to handle such things. Even then, it is unlikely the police would go hunting through the casino for the guy.

The woman went home. Someone walked her to her car which isn't required, but is nice to do when a person is distraught. If she is unhappy with the other patrons at the casino, don't go back. End of story.
