Need help on visitation issue

My ex wife had a friend of hers drop our kids off at my girlfriends house on friday night and it is not my visitation weekend. What can I do legally about this? Do I have to give the kids back to her? Is there any laws that allow her to do this? The children are very upset and confused. THANKS

What does the divorce decree says? If she is not following what is says and has not negotiated with you ahead of time these unexpected visits, then, you need to file a motion in court so she can be held in contempt and she will have to deal with it in court. Make sure you convey to the judge the impact that her actions are having on the children. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, you should return the children to your ex if she comes to get them. Otherwise, you can be held in contempt.

Be sure to document what happened. If it happens again, you may be able ask for a custody/visitation modification.
