My wife and I have decided to move out of state to avoid further interference from our son's biological father who is an illegal alien and has threatened to abduct our child and flee to Mexico. The CA courts have let us down and allowed visitation despite the kidnapping threats and illegal status. They won't order child support due to his illegal status. Because the CA courts have let us down as tax paying American citizens we are moving to another state. After all, its not the government's business what we do with our family and we certainly won't let our lives and choices be dictated by some illegal aliens. My question is what will happen if the father is able to find us? He's not too bright. How likely is it that the CA courts will be able to track us down and require us to come back to CA and go to court? I know they are overburdened and don't have the manpower to find us. If they did find us would the status quo stand firm or would a judge throw the book at us? Would we even see a judge or just settle things in mediation? We are willing to risk having to go back to court someday just for the chance of starting over and never being bothered again by these illegals. I realize no lawyer would advise this action but we are willing to take the chances to keep these people away from our family. These are VERY bad people. You'll just have to trust that. I want only to protect my family. Any advice would be much appreciated.
