I live in Louisiana and before we got married my wife and I each had a house.
She sold hers and made 125,000 which was in her name.
I sold mine and made 10,000
We bought a house together. She put up 125,000 and I put up 10,000
We are now getting divorced. She did not work while we were married and I paid the billsfor 5 years.
When we sell the house is the profit split or does she get the 125,000 and I get my 10,000 and we split the remaining profit.
