Misrepresentation of Power of Attorney

If one child signs that they are the Power of Attorney for their mother and they are Not! And if they instruct the hospital to withhold information from the other children, and the hospital does so. Can the brothers and sisters bring a criminal case against their sibling? It took use 6 months to discover this and in the meantime this person has made medical decision that were harmful to our parent.

Another sad tale of treachery and deceit by a trusted and loved family member. You can speak with your local district attorney or prosecutor. That meeting will bring you some comfort. I don't see a legal remedy for you. But, give it a go.

There is, however, a familial remedy. Banning and shunning works. Our family did this to one of our siblings. It works. It won't get you satisfaction in this case, but the creature that harmed you will never get close enough to harm any of you again!
