"A" is the sixth note of the diatonic scale of C major. The A above middle C is usually used as the basis for tuning and in modern music has a standard frequency of 440 Hz.

"Alfa" in the military phonetic alphabet.

I enjoyed watching "Alfalfa" (which is what I am SURE you meant to type) and his little rascal pals (of Our Gang Comedy fame) make merriment with their kiddie hi-jinks.

Unfortunately for Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer he was killed in bizarre incident while arguing over $50.00 and hunting dog.

Puts another spin on "**cking" the pooch.

A is for Alibi (according to Sue Grafton).

"Alfa" is the car (Alfa Romeo) not the letter.

(I wonder if Nico is reading all this and wondering if we have all lost our marbles.)

Alpha, to be precise

The NATO phonetic alphabet, officially denoted as the International Radiotelephony Spelling Alphabet, and also commonly known as the ICAO phonetic alphabet, and in a variation also known officially as the ITU phonetic alphabet and figure code, is the most widely used radiotelephone spelling alphabet. Although often called "phonetic alphabets", spelling alphabets are unrelated to phonetic transcription systems such as the International Phonetic Alphabet. Instead, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) alphabet assigned codewords acrophonically to the letters of the English alphabet, so that critical combinations of letters and numbers are most likely to be pronounced and understood by those who exchange voice messages by radio or telephone, regardless of language differences or the quality of the communication channel.[1]

The 26 code words in the NATO phonetic alphabet are assigned to the 26 letters of the English alphabet in alphabetical order as follows: Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliett, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, X-ray, Yankee, Zulu.[2]

No worries, posters often are reluctant to complete their post.

You changed your mind, no problem with your decision.

We're not trolls, we're just a fun loving group.

We'll stop kidding around if you tell us what's happening to you and what you want to know.
