I was paid with a nsf check, plus I am still owed 1 1/2 weeks worth of wages. If I file a criminal compliant with the district attorneys office for the check and file with the labor board for the 1 1/2 of unpaid wages , can I amend the nsf check later if the district attorneys office is not paid ? How does it work if this was a corporation and they file a bankruptcy. also i am not sure if I am an independent contractor due to the fact that they had us fill out time cards each week, no could remember the hours we worked because usually they were approx 15 hours a day and longer
