My jurisdiction is: Jackson, TN
I went to the Nationally known Company to take a pre-employment drug screen. I got there at 1 pm and everything went well. I waited to hear from my potential employer. Finally 3 days later I got a phone from the man who interviewed me, he informed me that I needed to call Human Resources. I contacted them and then I was informed that the clinic wrote a letter to the company that i was trying to become an employee of. The letter stated that they had lost my urine sample and have no idea what happened to it. I spoke to the office manager at the clinic and she has accepted responsibilty. The error has held me up from going to work for at least a week and then a professional sales class for another week. I feel this has definitely affected my income. Please advice me my options and what you suggest I do. Thank you so much!
